Because I want to keep this article short we are going to only talk about 3 ways to start an internet based business. We could probably talk about this all day long and never totally cover every possible way people are using the internet to conduct business today.

One thing you can do is start numerous internet based businesses and develop multiple streams of income that way. However, everybody must start with one way so here are 3 ideas to do that.

1. Build an email marketing list and sell products to it. You can actually develop numerous income streams from one quality email marketing list. The key is to learn how to become a professional email marketer.

One nice thing about doing email marketing is you don’t have to spend a lot of time worrying about content like you would a blog or website. Affiliate marketing is a good way to start an internet based business and you can sell products via email marketing.

2. Some people prefer to develop a large website that gives people numerous choices. If somebody visits your site give them choices.

These can include choices to join your mailing list, purchase an ebook, buy a report, click on the Google ad, fill out a CPA offer, and so on. You are giving yourself numerous ways to make money when you do this.

Over time large websites like this can number in the thousands of pages and pretty much run on autopilot as the traffic flows on constant basis.

3. At one time mini sites were extremely popular. Today you don’t hear as much about these but you do hear about people who have been numerous blogs in various niches.

You can still promote mini sites which are just small websites of four or five pages. In some cases they might just be a single page promoting an affiliate product in the pre-sell or review format.

Having numerous blogs is a good way to start an internet based business. You can monetize your blog with Google Adsense or other affiliate products to quickly and easily begin making money.

You can also develop a consistent income stream by selling advertising on your blog as your traffic increases. You will see more large companies and corporations advertising on blogs as the cost of television and radio advertising becomes more prohibitive.
