I recommend using WordPress blogging platform since it is very easy to use, customize, change, and add new content. You do not necessarily have to learn any html coding. And most importantly Google loves WordPress blogs.

One other important thing is that you should use your blog at your own domain. Even though you can get it for free, it is important that you are in full control of it. This is not the case if you are hosting it at WordPress.com.

3. Work a set schedule. Because many Internet marketers work part time it can be easy to goof off and not get your work done.  If you set a schedule and stick to it you will find your business moving forward quicker.

4. Stay in a profitable niche. Niche marketing is good, but if something goes out of fashion you need to always be promoting things that are profitable.

Affiliate marketing is a good way to do this because you can find products quickly to sell people who have an interest and need for. Information products are a good way to do this.
